Do you believe Visual Studio Code borrowed/copied ideas from Sublime Text ? I saw one video course where the author said this feature was ported over, that feature wasn’t. Want to know how the author feels about it.

Interesting question imho.
I personally think that Atom has taken many ideas, workflows and UI Elements from ST. Afterwards VSC came and copied stuff from both of them.
I hope that ST may take a few elements back for equality. E.g. the new git badges seem to be inspired from VCS (I read this somewhere).
