Highlighting all words in document

I have been unable to figure out how to highlight words in a non-code (just regular text) document. Coming from Notepad++ I used to be able to select a string and right-click and “style all occurrences - first style” which would highlight the matching string in the document.

Is there anything similar for Sublime?

There’s not something like that built in, but it’s possible to do with a plugin. An example of that would be this plugin, which provides a couple of options, one of which is selecting text and having all instances of it highlighted.
