The “highlight_line” setting allows you to have the current line (the line with the caret) highlighted. Could a similar feature/setting be added to highlight that same line in the minimap? Probably with a color less subtle than the standard gray background used by highlight_line, since the minimap is so small.
This would be helpful when dragging through the minimap of a very large file. With just a glance you could see your way back to where you were editing. (Not that source code files are generally so big that you’d need this, hopefully. But if you ever have to browse through massive log files, data dumps, etc.)
