Hidden Google Go (golang) package and bin files

Hi there.
Having go (GOPATH) directory tree in the ST3 side bar, my compiled package files and binaries don’t show up. Why are they hidden? I still can see them using my system file browser.
This happens both with OSX Mavericks and Windows 7/64.
That’s not a real problem, as I wouldn’t make anything of .a and executable files within ST, but still I wonder if there is an explanation to this?
