Goto last edit point within same file

I recently discovered the “goto last edit” keyboard shortcut, ctrl + -.

I’m wondering if there is a version of this command that goes to the last edit within the same file. So, skipping down the stack of edits until it finds an edit point in the same file, etc.

You can try the soft undo feature at ctrl+u, although that will eventually also undo modifications to the file. It will, however, first jump back through the selection history.
