‘Goto definition’ works correctly when used as the image below, but as soon the commented code is added, the functionality breaks, and the option is no longer visible in the menu. Why is this?
We require the symbols to be added to allow you to navigate on a project scale
I have looked through related issues, but they have been of little help.
doesn’t transforming the symbol index mean that the symbol is added to the index with the transformation, so with your example, unless you have lots of whitespace in front and selected when performing Goto Definition, it won’t find the symbol in the index?
Even if just the transformation part is commented out, it still breaks Goto Definition. So, even if we only enable showInIndexedSymbolList, it will make Goto Definition not work at all.
Why?
(BTW this happens even in ST3 too.)
Does anyone have any ideas at all? This really seems to be a bug in Sublime because I can’t explain it any other way… We don’t see what we’re doing wrong here. But that it goes all the way back to version 3 and nobody noticed? Hmmm…
