When using ctrl+g (GoTo AnyLine), if i use ‘escape’ to cancel the overlay, my cursor switches to ‘insert’ mode.
This acts funny, and ‘return’ key acts like ‘down arrow’ key. The cursor can not stay at the end of the line, where the last character is a brace, rather is switches its position to immidiate before the brace.
1# after ‘escape’ is pressed to cancel the overlay.
2# after ‘insert’ key is pressed …
3# pressing the ‘return’ key …
4# multiple pressing the ‘home’ key could not fetch the cursor to the left margin …
5# first two lines are selected with shift+down-arrow, then shift was released. now the use of up,down,left,right-keys will behave as if the ‘shift’ is being pressed.
I could reproduce the bug, but not every time.
you have to use ctrl+g at least couple of time to go to any line. followed by cancelling a ctrl+g overlay with the ‘escape’ will produce the bug (at least for me; not every single time though).
