Future feature or hidden existing?

#1

Hi!
I really love Sublime2. But I don’t know if I’m ready to make the switch from Coda just yet. The problem is that I think the folder feature is missing a few things.
My “htdocs” folder has almost 50 sub-folders. Now with Coda, all I have to do is double-click on of them to get ONLY that one displayed in the sidebar. This makes my
day a whole lot easier and organized. So my question is; Does this feature exist in Sublime 2?

One other thing that I don’t understand is; When I open a file from finder (I’m using Mac btw.) it opens that file in a new window, not a tab. I’ve been looking through the
settings, but I cant find any options there…?

Other than this, I really, really like Sublime.

#2: in your Global Settings - User, add the following:

"open_files_in_new_window": false

As for narrowing down the number of files in the sidebar, my only advice is to look into command+t for quickly changing files. Before you know it, you won’t even need to look at the sidebar :smile:

Lemme know if you have any other questions to make your switch from Coda painless and sublime.
