Freezing Spinning Wheel

#1

I give up. I must waste 15-20 minutes a day on waiting for Sublime Text to become responsive again. I’ve been dealing with this for months and months and months.

The only thing less responsive than my Sublime Text is Sublimes Technical Support.

I think you are likely to get more technical support if you just state clearly what is it that is actually happening to your ST setup.

This doesn’t help anyone understand the problem. If you can provide more context, it will be easier to get to the root of the problem, like :-

  1. Sublime Text version
  2. OS
  3. What packages have you got installed (I can only speculate that a package is causing the unresponsive behavior) ?
  4. Have you tried reverting to a freshly installed state and then checking to see if the unresponsive behavior continues ? If not, most likely a package is causing it. You then need to disable packages one by one to see which one is causing it.
  5. The output of Tools -> Developer -> Profile Plugins... is also helpful in understanding plugin bottlenecks.
