Freeze when I press alt or access menus

#1

I haven’t changed my plugins, (I only have a couple installed) and all of a sudden my Sublime Text 3 is locking up if I try to click any of the menu buttons up top, if I right-click with the mouse or if I simply press the “Alt” key. It begins using about 25% of my memory and freezes on me. I have to forcefully close it using the task manager, which reports it as “Running”. I tried reinstalling with no luck. Anyone have any idea of what is going on?

Hopefully the crash dump will give someone who can view it more insight.

Edit: I’m on Windows 7 x64

Edit: On an untitled document that I edited, I press Ctrl + W to close the file. For files that I already saved, this closes the window. But for the edited untitled document, simply bringing up the “Do you want to save this” dialog freezes sublime as mentioned above…

Thanks!

I reverted to a freshly installed state by following these directions. sublimetext.com/docs/3/revert.html That seemed to have fixed it.

I’ll just build my settings back up. Odd since I only had a handful of plugins enabled and they hadn’t updated. Oh well. I’m glad I can use the menus again.

This happened again, and then crashed where I couldn’t launch it. I figured out that a fix was to delete the Session data. Opening it up works again.

OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 3/Session.*
Windows: %APPDATA%\Sublime Text 3/Session.*
Linux: ~/.config/sublime-text-3/Local/Session.*
