Fortran support on linux

I can’t find a version of Sublime that supports modern fortran on CentOS 6.9. (No problem on MacOS 10.12.5)

Sublime Text 3 does not support Fortran by default, but there does exist a couple of Fortran packages for ST.

Head to http://packagecontrol.io and search for Fortran and take your pick.

I tried that and couldn’t get it t work.
BUT fortran support appeared automatically when I loaded Sublime on the MacOS 10.12.5
Why not on Linux ?

Ask here. Currently Fortran support is provided by community, not by SublimeHQ.
