I recently bought a licence for Sublime Text 3, and I’ve enjoyed using it so far. I’m using the 64-bit Build 3059 on Windows 7 Pro.
However, the fonts appear slightly, but noticeably, smaller in Sublime than other text editors. For example, Consolas 10pt font in Sublime looks like 9.5pt in any other text editor or word processor.
I took a few screenshots where you can clearly see the difference. Here’s the same text file displayed in Consolas, 10pt font in WordPad, Notepad, SciTE, and Sublime.

You can see that the spacing between lines is a bit different in SciTE, but the font itself appears the same in WordPad, Notepad, and SciTE. However, it’s noticeably smaller in Sublime. And below is a screenshot of the same text file in 9.5pt font in WordPad and SciTE, but 10pt in Sublime. Again, the line spacing varies, which I expect, but the font size seems to be the same in all of them, when it should be larger in Sublime.

This is obviously not a huge problem, but now that I’ve noticed it, I can’t seem to un-notice it. I suppose I’m a bit Monk-ish.
Is there a setting to re-calibrate the text sizing? Is this a known bug? I understand that Sublime Text 3 is a beta version. Are there any plans to fix this?
