My apologizes if this exists, I was unable to find something.
The Problem:
Directory trees can get unruly, which is often out of the developers control. The visibility of the structure becomes further reduced the deeper you go. Often times it is only necessary that a single directory several levels deep be visible.
The Solution:
Right click on a directory and choose “Focus” – this will cause the selected directory to TEMPORARILY become the top level. Directory can then be “Unfocused” to revert to the original tree.
