I’m reviewing this app for potential purchase and found the following issue: Once you’ve used the Replace command, the app retains your replacement text after you close the file and then attempt to replace text with null. How to recreate the issue:

  1. Open a new file
  2. Type some text
  3. Use the “Replace” command to Find & Replace some of the text with “1234”
  4. Save & Close the file
  5. Open the file
  6. Use the “Replace” command to Find & Replace some text and leaving the desired replacement text as null

The text will be replaced with “1234” instead of null.

mac-mini i5 8GB RAM

  1. open file (see dl.dropbox.com/u/41143564/stage … nlinks.txt)
  2. menu Find - Replace …
  3. Turn on Regular Expression
  4. search “,” (w/o ")
  5. replace “,\n” (w/o ")
  6. Push button “Replace” on the right sidebar once - result is OK
  7. Push button “Replace All” - result is HANG
  8. Wait for 20 min and kill App
