File Search Super Slow

I recently updated my version of Sublime 3 and am finding the file search is not so slow. This was a critical feature I used for searching our 15000+ file source quite quickly. Anyone else having this issue?

I have Sublime 3.2.2, Build 3211.

I’ve had very slow search as long as I can remember. I would love to switch the implementation to ripgrep, which is night and day better.

Is there any chance you are not excluding a huge directories like node_modules?

I have node_modules in folder_exclude_patterns. And there are about 17k files searched in my main project.

I do exclude some huge directories in our source. Maybe I’m just going crazy but it felt much faster just a few day ago before I was prompted to download a new version.
