File not refreshing after git checkout current file (plugin)

I’m using the Git plugin for ST2. I am not sure exactly when this behavior started happening, but after using Cmd-Shift-P to select Git: Checkout Current File, the file does get reverted, however the view of the file remains stale until I perform another action such as Cmd-P. As soon as I type Cmd-P, then the file refreshes and the original contents appear.

This used to not behave like this (the file would refresh its contents immediately after executing the Checkout Current File command).

Any thoughts?

I have this issue too. I have to click on another buffer/tab and then return to the current buffer/tab to see the file contents refreshed.
