Feature Request: Terminal panel for each tab in Sublime Merge

#1

Working with AI is a living dystopian nightmare of managing dozens of windows, tabs, agents and workflows at once. But at the end of the day I’m still using Sublime-Merge to verify exactly whats going into git every time.

It would be really helpful for me (and maybe other devs) if each of my sublime-merge tabs could own their own integrated terminal instance in a panel. Being able to open the terminal to a repo is helpful (i’ve added a key-binding for it), but i still wind up with a bunch of different windows that are hard to keep track of. Anyway, love both apps. Keep it up

obvio no uso merge, estoy con sublime Text 4200.
Ahora bien , no sé si el codigo sirva a las dos por igual.

Yes, something like that. The idea would be that each tab would have its own terminal session making it easy to keep track of which terminal belongs to which repo.

If you don’t mind stepping outside the Subl room I can explain how I do that not with Merge but with Text. Same principles apply. Rather than everything inside cramped window session another layer is linked to the underlying primary Subl session. Think hypercube. Just hit Build and up it pops.

How did you do that in Sublime Text? It’s awesome.
