I manage some projects where I have several remotes, in my workflow (using Git Kraken for the last year) is so that I work within origin but hide other origins, when needed (changes from other origins) I can make one origin visible and cherrypick the desired commit.
I just started using Sublime Merge and I find it looks fantastic, but some key features are missing or maybe is just me not being used to the interface.
