share my experience using Pi Agent in sublime text via the termmate plugin
Pi Agent allows you to configure and switch between multiple models. I have been using Gemini via apikey in Google AI Studio, and it works seamlessly. The chat output view and permission panel is far more easy to use than via iterm2. I usually use the built-in plan mode to make my design proposal.
The split view layout inside Sublime Text offers a much cleaner and more organized interface than copilot in vscode in my experience. So many plugins has occupied my vscode side bar.
I spend a large portion of my time using claudecode in TermMate sublime text. Having this integrated coding agent directly in editor rather than iTerm2 keeps me focused on code review without context-switching.
If you are looking for a integrated, editor-native development flow with Pi coding agents, I recommend this setup. There is related topic Using agentic coding in ST with codex, claude cli
