Error when launching Sublime Merge on command line

#1

New Macbook Pro 16. Mac OS 10.15.x. I get this error every time I launch Sublime Merge from the command line:

Timeout waiting for detached instance to start: No such file or directory

Has anyone else seen this?

Is Sublime Merge already running when you run the command line tool? How have you installed the command line tool, symlink?

Happens whether Sublime Merge is running or not.

I installed the command line tool (smerge) by adding:

"/Applications/Sublime Merge.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin"

To the PATH.

There’s been some fixes in the development channel in relation to this. Could you try the development channel and see if you have the same issue there?

Thank you. I cannot repro this on 2046.
