"Errno 2" for a pandoc build

#1

Hi,

I know similar issues have been discussed on this forum and elsewhere but I found no solution for my specific case.

I have ST 4126 installed on Solus Linux as a snap package. Pandoc is installed from the general OS repository.

As I try to build a markdown file, I keep on getting this error.

Looking for some simple solution here. I am not a coder.

[Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'pandoc'

Snaps isolate the application from the operating system, so this is working as intended. This is why we don’t provide a snap package.

Okay, I see, thank you.

For some reason, I am still able to build things in snap-installed ST4 on my other Linux machines. Here is a log of a successful build.

Saving the session file took longer than expected. This may result in slowdowns and is usually caused by large unsaved files, large number of selections or misbehaving plugins. (build: 24ms, encode: 17ms, write: 1211ms)
