Mac OSX 14.2.1, editing a large .tex file has become slower with last update. There is a noticeable delay (.5 sec) after each keypress. If I type a rapid sequence of characters, the delay is much longer.
Can anyone reproduce this, or should I check my installed packages?

Testing a million line file entering text has no delay. This is likely due to a plugin. I suggest trying safe mode.

Indeed I found the culprit. It was a badly written LaTeX syntax file. This leads to my second question so I open a different topic. Thanks!
