Edit Visual Basic in SublimeText?

Hello. Does SublimeText offer syntax highlighting for Visual Basic?

I see this old forum post. I’m just wondering if there’s an update to it since it is a few years old now.

There is also https://packagecontrol.io/packages/VBDotNet (quite old as well)

you can use the built in ASP syntax for VBA, really it should be renamed…

OK thanks for that (@Clams as well). I copied some VB into SublimeText and changed the syntax to ASP, and it seemed to apply correct syntax highlighting.

Any ideas on how to open an existing VB script in SublimeText? Currently, to edit my existing VB scripts, I open Excel, then use alt+F11 to open the standard Visual Basic editor.

You drag the VBScript file and drop into a currently running Sublime Text instance, or use the open with menu, or create a dedicated menu:
