Edit All Occurrences of String in Scope

#1

I posted this on the UserEcho site, but I thought it would be worth reposting here to spread the idea a bit:

A simple feature, but one I sorely miss. Would be great either as a built-in feature or as a plugin.

Select a string, and keep pressing CMD+D to select its occurences, now you can rename it.

You can also use Ctrl-k,Ctrl-d to skip an occurrence.

this issue seems to be pretty dead and I always loved cmd+D but edit all in scope would certainly really be a great addition.

Has any considerations been done that I’ve missed? that would be great!
(looking for c language especially)

thanks and sorry for the huge bump :sunny:
