Drag-and-Drop Broken

#1

ST3 Stable Channel, Build 3126
Mac Pro Sierra 10.12.4

Select and drag something to line above or below but not visible in Window no longer works. Release in previous working locations, nothing happens… [mumble-grumble]

LINE SELECTION!
Sierra clipboard is lost. Sublime is selecting a line but dropping line focus to following line.
NO WONDER THERE ARE ISSUES HAPPENING!
When will Sublime fix this?
So that cursors and foci remain on selected line (s).

Probably related, When you try and drag selected to above or below the visible window, the window does not scroll up or down - though the window scrolls up or down when cursor hits top or bottom window frame in every other app on a Mac.

Sublime FAIL! DOUBLE FAIL!

Sorry, that setting does nothing.
We all live with it, but line focus IS causing system conflicts.

Is this another ‘apostrophe’ for only Raanana font in Region 3 colonies, a.k.a. ‘global’ constraints?
Trump it! The appointed Brexit aristocrat is in charge of information industry fixes.
Congress can fix line focus for King Kieth!

Almost. Selection line focus is now good in HTML, for a minute… then also in XML tmTheme… then back to following line for both.

looked good for short while you had it corrected. Bright white Cursor integrated as left border of darker selection border at beginning of selection point. That looked fantastic.

(cursors blinking, snapped tight to beginning of each line with correct line number selected - cursor initial position is below, as above but jumped back to return focus to selected line. Looked professional, while it lasted. FIX cursor so that when jumps back to selection beginning point also cursor resize to match selection border, 2 pixels shorter.)

However, for all files now focus has slipped back to following line, as above. Also, still unable to scroll when try drag to out-of-view lines above or below lines visible in window.

kingkieth setting has no effect.

To help people help you, try the following:

  1. When describing your problem, use a list showing the exact steps required to reproduce
  2. Explain what you thought should happen, and what happened instead
  3. Leave out commentary like LINE SELECTION!, NO WONDER THERE ARE ISSUES HAPPENING!, and Sublime FAIL! DOUBLE FAIL!. These are distracting readers, making it hard to understand your point.

From previous posts you’ve made, it is often hard to understand what you are saying because your writing style tends to jumble a bunch of thoughts together. You also tend to interject lots of commentary about your situation. Try to be simple and factual. Hopefully that will make it easier for people to understand you. Once people understand you, then it will be easier to explain why something is happening, or figure out if something needs to be fixed.
