It appears when I download the text editor comes up but not the Terminal. Anyone with similar issues. Do I need to go with a Windows version? Desperately need help as I need this program for a DA class I am taking.

Problem solved. Realized that from the jump. It appears now when I reloaded set up. Mention of terminal comes up in past posts
