Exactly. I choose another one since the default one has changed.

We update all of the applications files to the latest version when we install an update. If you are overwriting a file in the .app or modifying an .exe it is definitely the expected behavior that your changes will be lost on each update.

So, it seems that the shell script won’t die any soon.
