Does paid version comes with extra features?

I would like to buy a license. Just want to know if paid version comes with some extra features (or not) !

No. With a license, you can

  • disable update check from settings (via setting "update_check": false in the preferences)
  • remove the annoying popup when saving a file
  • remove “unregistered” from the app title
  • access to dev builds

For Sublime Merge, you can use dark themes as well in addition to above if you have a SM license (Theme restriction doesn’t apply to Sublime Text)

its this crippleware feature that makes me reluctant to purchase sublime merge. i also tend to get uppity about nagware but sublime text 2 was just so good i forgave it :slight_smile:

I wouldn’t use a hyperbolic made-up word like crippleware to describe essentially not being able to use a dark theme in Sublime Merge. Cause every other more important feature you need is available without the license.
