I just bought sublime. I have a text that’s 35,000 paragraphs long. I need to insert a symbol in the first blank line following each paragraph. Is there a way to automate this?
Example:
I need to turn this:
blah, blah, blah, blah
blah, blah, blah, blah
Into this:
blah, blah, blah, blah
\
blah, blah, blah, blah
\
Wash, rinse, repeat 35,000 times. HELP?!?
The Find & Replace function supports regular expressions. There’s never a better time to learn regex than when you need to use it!
If I understand correctly, you would find something like: $\n\n
(The dollar sign might not be needed.)
And then replace it with: \nX\n\n
(I am using X to indicate the character you mention. Depending on the character you’re using, you may need to escape it.)
