Distraction Free Mode wrap_width not working on certain files

Hi there,

I’ve got a few .txt files that Distraction Mode isn’t using the wrap_width for. It does on others, and I can’t figure out what the issue is.

I’ve got it set to:

“wrap_width”: 70,

And in one .txt file it’s working, and in another, it’s different.

I tried changing the syntax view, with no effect. They’re both .txt files full of just notes, so I’m not sure how it could be seeing the files as different in terms of how to show them!

Would love some help at other ways to uncover this mystery!

Okay, the one thing I didn’t try until AFTER posting was to close and reopen the file.

Now it’s using the proper “wrap_width”: 70, in distraction mode.

Still not sure what caused the problem, so I’d love to diagnose that if possible!

But maybe the interim solution is helpful for others as well!

It’s likely the "wrap_width" was changed for that file - under the Edit > Wrap menu, thus overriding the global settings.
