Distraction free mode, keys don't work with 4180

When I toggle distraction free mode in 4180 my keys stop working and I get those “invalid key”-sounds from my mac. I can’t toggle back either since it won’t accept any keys. Any help is appreciated

Does it happen in safe mode?

No, it works in safe mode. I guess that means it’s an issue with some plugin?

A plugin or custom key bindings would be my guess.

I would suggest looking through your installed plugins and keybindings and seeing if anything jumps out. If you find nothing you can use the "ignored_packages" setting to selectively ignore packages to narrow down which one is the cause.

I tried to ignore all packages but that did not help. Interestingly I found another post of someone else with same issue on a near similar setup as mine: https://superuser.com/questions/1852116/can-t-type-in-sublime-text-in-full-screen-or-distraction-free-modes

If you’ve ignored all packages that only leaves the keybindings and settings as possible causes.

Thanks for the link. I tried disabling packages and keybindings to no avail. I’ve resorted to using this package which almost gives us the full screen experience: https://github.com/aziz/DistractionFreeWindow?tab=readme-ov-file
