I set word wrap to 44 characters and word wrap to true. Looks fine, but then when I go into distraction free mode, it doesn’t obey the word wrap. Only those in the view menu. Any fixes?

Did you alter the settings for Distraction free mode (Preferences > Settings - Distraction Free)? Those settings override all other settings while Distraction Free mode is turned on, so if you don’t alter them there, they will get clobbered away by the default distraction free settings. which set wrap_width to 80.
