Distraction free margins customization - Sublime Text

When I enter distraction free mode, the cursor starts at the absolute TOP of the display. Is there a way to have all new docs made with distraction free mode start with a bit of space up top? If you click on the screen shot below, you’ll see my cursor at the super very top.

It seems like a reasonably popular request but SublimeHQ haven’t reacted to it yet:

The best you can do for now is physically insert enough line feeds to pust the caret down
