I have just started using Sublime 3 and would like to know how I can turn off the auto tag completion feature until I would like to use it.

No, I did not pay for a license.

I paid for it last night. but for now i haven’t receive any keys. I don’t know what to do?

You’re referring to pressing < in a HTML document showing completions of known tags?

yes. it is completing the closing tags for me.

probably you want to change this default preference to false:

// Automatically close HTML and XML tags when </ is entered.
"auto_close_tags": true,

Disabling auto tag completion
