Disable the split views when opening Preferences?

#1

Is there any way to disable the split views when opening Preferences? Or at least open them in the current window? It’s really annoying opening up an new window. Especially on Ubuntu because it opens a tiny window so you have to resize it. It’s very annoying.

Christ. Noticed that I already thumbed up some of those issues. Feb 2014.

The thing is, opening the settings side-by-side is good for new users. I very rarely need to open the default preferences. Guess I’ll have to write a custom command and override the default one sigh.

The whole tiny window thing is ridiculous. It happens to when you open from the terminal via subl .: a fecking tiny window. It also open two windows to compound the issue i.e. it opens the last project you had open AND another window with the current directory i.e. subl ..

I thumbed-up this:

In general, I think the new default is a better experience for non-advanced users. And advanced users can customize the way they want.
