Disable "save as" dialog for new files and store them in configured folder (autosave to default folder)

#1

Is there an option to not show the “choose folder” when saving the new files (via ctrl+s or autosave). I’d like to enable auto save and save new files with an autogenerated name in some default folder.

I use the sublime text as a scratchpad. I often press Ctrl+N write some important memo then forget about it, then create a couple of new tabs in which i paste some logs or other not important stuff. Then I’m closing the sublime and press No on every “do you want to save” dialog and lose the important memo :(.

I wouldn’t care if the huge not important files are saved too. I could delete them later (or maybe specify size limit above which files aren’t saved to that default folder).
