I am using ST3, and it has this (for me) annoying feature that if you double click on the tab of a file, it opens the file in a separate instance of ST3.
Is there a way to disable this ?

I’m not seeing that behavior here, what platform are you using and what version of Sublime Text (See Help > About)?
I am running it under Ubuntu (linux 64 bits kernel 6.8.0-86-generic) and the build is the “Stable channel, Build 4200”
I am sorry, the description is wrong. What actually happens is this:
Since the tab is detached from the original ST instance, a new one is created with only that tab.
I suppose this is normal behaviour (I can see why this would be useful). But still, is it possible to disable this behaviour ? Otherwise I will need to buy a less sensitive mouse.
