Disable animation upon tab closing

#1

Is there a possibility not to have the document tab in the immediate left to be slided to the left in an animation when we close the current document? Animations sometimes annoy us… It could be possible, just like the items in Windows taskbar under performance options (computer properties, system properties, performance.

Thanks!

For ST3 there are these two settings…

// Controls side bar animation when expanding or collapsing folders
"tree_animation_enabled": true,

// Controls animation throughout the application
"animation_enabled": true,

and for ST2…

// Controls side bar animation when expanding or collapsing folders
"tree_animation_enabled": true,

Thanks Subhaze!
Sorry for the five days to get back here.
So, I don’t yet have ST3, and that ST2 setting appear not to ‘instantly’ close a document tab (in the upper tabbar). Also, it is not about the sidebar like I’ve seen in some searches I did here… so, is it currently a ST3 only setting?
Thanks!
