jps - what would your thoughts be on moving the dirty-bit indicator location from the right to the left of file names? This way, you can more easily see at a glance which files are which (since the location is constant), and the won’t be covered when tabs are small:
Another +1. I think you first and foremost look for dirty files, secondly what their names are (in most situations pertaining to dirty files, that is).
The current position of the dirty dot is an eye killer. It’s very hard to notice.
