Different colour sheme on unsaved tabs

hello,

I am having a different colour scheme on new unsaved tabs. Can someone help me find how this came to be?

Existing files have the correct colour scheme. When I create a new unsaved document it has a different colour sheme. I don’t have a syntax specific setting. I applied syntax, I changed the syntax on that file, changes are not taking effect. They do take effect once I save them.

Have you tried reverting back to a vanilla install to see whether a plugin is causing this? https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/3/revert.html
