Devagari text is broken!

Hi there,

I am trying to use Sublime Text for Devanagri Characters (trying to type Hindi). But the text is broken? Is there a solution or work around?

I am using Sublime 3.

Hi, I may also be facing a similar problem. The various symbols do appear fine, but the diacritical signs (मात्रा) are not being rendered properly. For example, if I want to type बारात, in Sublime, it will appear as:
ब ा र ा त

I am using Sublime Text 2 installed on Ubuntu 12.04. I am currently typing in hindi using the BolNagri script available through Ubuntu’s Keyboard Layout program. I can type in hindi without any problem on gedit documents and even webpages (for example, this page). Even in Sublime Text, if I just leave my hindi word as depicted above, for example a in a Markdown document, once I convert it to HTML (using MarkdownBuild), the word appears fine!

I am not sure what the details of technical problem is, but the above is what I observe. It will be good to know what the problem is and to know of the solution.
