Cursor using backtick ( js template literals ) go crazy

Writing template literals (Template strings) in javascript using the backtick symbol the cursor go to the end of the line and sometimes the backtick disappear if go to another app.

My guess would be a plugin interfering. Try reverting to a freshly installed state.
