Cuda C++ Linter Support

#1

I can only find old linters for Cuda C++, that look abandoned on Github, and not designed for ST4. Is there something scheduled ?

The only NVCC linter I can see is SublimeLinter-contrib-nvcc/ from 2017 ?

So it doesn’t work? Unless nvcc linter changes its output format, args or something breaking, there is nothing to be updated for the plugin.

Look at the github repository. Last update from 8 years ago, for SublimeText3 (“This plugin has only been tested on CUDA 8.0.”). And it requires sublimetext-cuda-cpp, last updated 8 years ago too (“Currently supports highlighting of all CUDA C/C++ syntax defined in … of the NVIDIA CUDA C Programming Guide (CUDA Toolkit v6.0)”).

We are at CUDA 13.0.

I don’t mean to maintain it, but you didn’t anwser that: so it doesn’t work?

Syntax definition requires some update. But it’s unrelated to your question. ST3 plugin should just continue to work in ST4.

My question is more about the availability, or the lack thereof, of a regularly maintained Cuda C++ linter for SublimeText; I am asking as CUDA has been rapidly evolving. I have not tried the plugin recently, but if I remember correctly, it seemed to work (although as stated above, it is really outdated).
