CTRL-P file selection without mouse button

#1

With the latest build 4107 when searching for a file and locating it I am no longer able to select the file with the keyboard. Previous versions allowed me to use the ENTER key to select the highlighted file but that doesn’t appear to work any longer. Currently, the only way to select the file is to use the left mouse button which isn’t ideal. Anybody know if there is a setting I need to set? I didn’t make any changes since upgrading to 4107 from 3211.

EDIT: safe-mode appears to work fine. Looking at my key-bindings I’m not overriding anything and the user ones are empty so presumably the default (linux) ones differ between 3211 and 4107.

Thanks for any help.

If you do Preferences > Browse Packages, do you see a folder named Default?

Thanks for the reply. No, I do not see a “default” folder. There are only 4: jsonschema, pylinter, sftp and user

If you go up a folder and into Installed Packages do you perhaps see one there?

I do see a Default.sublime-package in there. Should I move/delete it?

That’s very interesting, I haven’t the faintest idea of how that could happen (without doing it on purpose of course). It’s most likely to be the cause of your issues.

Me neither. I moved it out of the way and the CTRL-P issue seems to be resolved. Thanks for the quick suggestion. Hopefully that’ll be the last issue I encounter with the new version.
