Ctrl + F not loading text with /n into the find text field

As you can see when I select normal text the field gets populated with the selected text.

But when I select the code it does not.

Is there a setting for this or just a bug?

EDIT: This appears to be with using the keyboard short: Ctrl+F and also Ctrl+Shift+F

No bug appears with Ctrl+F3 .

Using:

After quick experiment, if there is a \n in the selected text, the find won’t be auto filled.

Ctrl+F3 works correctly though.
