Creating new syntax not working STE 3

Hi all,

I am trying to creating a new syntax file so I followed the instructions on installing AAAPackageDev which tells me to copy that sublime-package file into my “installed packages” folder. I have done this and restarted sublime text 3 but still don’t see an option in the command palette to create a new template.

Anyone know what I"m missing here?

AAAPackageDev isn’t compatible with ST3. I’ve described how to create new syntax file here.

Doh! Sorry for the dupe post. Did not come up in my searches. I had a sinking suspicion but could not confirm that in the documentation anywhere (that I could find). Thanks for the prompt and helpful reply!
