Corrupt Session.sublime_session File?

#1

Running Sublime Text 3.1.1 on MacOS 10.14.3

Appears that my Session.sublime_session file (in ~/Application Support/Sublime Text 3/Local) has become corrupt. The symptom is that Sublime Text doesn’t show the contents of any files. The only indication that Sublime Text is running is the presence of the Sublime Text application menu. i

If I remove the Session.sublime_session file, a new one is created and the symptom goes away.

Is there a way to determine (and correct) what is causing the issue in the Session.sublime_session file?
