Copying during a macro

#1

When I record a macro where I select, then copy, then paste text, it looks like the macro will keep whatever text is in the paste buffer when I recorded the macro.

Is there a way for me to get the recorded macro to capture the keystrokes rather than the actual text in the paste buffer?

Thanks,

Hi John,

It turns out there’s a bug where copy commands are skipped in the macro. Cut and Paste should appear ok though. This will be fixed in the next beta.

This still appears to be broken as of Sublime Build 4113. I’m able to use the Cut and Paste work around.

Can you paste the specific macro that isn’t working?

I am having this issue using Vintage mode. Copying in a macro does not work when I use the “yank” command (y).

ST version 4126, Windows 10.
