Copy Function Limit

Good evening,

Is there a limit to how many characters (or any other kind of limit) sublime can copy/paste?

I am working with 33 MB / 58 MB files (HMTL, first and probably last time), I am killing plugin host (as an alternative to disable all features, without persisting through restarts) - and Sublime crashes consistently on pasting 42M characters.

Works on 21M characters though

I don’t get it. You’ve found the limit, what are you trying to achieve? Why not find a tool that splits and joins files and work on smaller pieces?

“I am trying to achieve” a small “catch”-clause so that other users know in advance that the paste operation will crash, and inform them to select a smaller piece
