Copy does not work: copied 0 bytes

#1

Dear Sublime,

I love to use Sublime and have a purchased version. Unfortunately copy (CMD-C) does not work reliable. Every now an then copy fails and the previous copyied string will be pasted instead of the last one. I can watch the fail in status bar, then “copied 0 bytes” is displayed. I can repeat pressing CMD-C until “copied X bytes” is displayed and paste works as expected. This is really annoying.

Using MacOS 10.15.6, Sublime 3.2.2/3211, using Package “Emacs Pro Essentials”

Have you redefined any keys in the keybinidings ? If you’ve say assigned a command to say ctrl+c,ctrl+ something_else it’ll clash with ctrl+c. I have had that issue with ST3…making ctrl+c unreliable, I’d have to press it a few times to get a copy.

Since I am using the emacs shortcut ALT-W instead of CMD-C pasting works perfectly. Seems to be a problem with the package “Emacs Pro Essentials”.

File an issue there: https://github.com/sublime-emacs/sublemacspro/issues/197
